Welcome to The Quiet Yes

This is The Quiet Yes — a place for Christian women returning home.

The woman tired of striving. The woman done with shallow faith. The woman ready to walk honestly with God and discover she was always a daughter, never a slave.

Through art journaling and kindred community, women here learn the rhythm of meeting Pappa on the page — bringing what’s heavy, receiving His exchange, and rejoicing as His daughters.

Maybe this is you.

You love God, but you’re quietly exhausted from trying to be the “right kind” of Christian woman.

You said yes to Jesus years ago — but somewhere along the way, you wonder if you missed the abundant life He came to give. Is this it? Is this what walking with God is supposed to feel like?

You’ve been carrying shame you can’t quite put down. You’ve been performing more than connecting. You’re surrounded by people but feel quietly alone in your real life.

And underneath everything else — you’re hungry for real.

Here’s what I’ve found, friend.

Pappa doesn’t shame us. He sees us. He exchanges — honour for shame, righteousness for guilt, glory for disgrace. He runs to His daughters every time they turn home. We are not slaves. We never were.

The Quiet Yes is the place where we learn to live this. Page by page. Yes by yes. Not by striving. By receiving.

And coming soon — The Gathering. A long table where kindred women come and stay. Our first dish is The Creative Pausea 12-week seasonal art journaling gathering. It’s still being prepared. If your heart is whispering yes, share your interest here. You’ll be the first to hear when the doors open.

About me.

I’m Tina. I live on the road in Australia, in a bus, with my husband and a teacup that’s always close. I love to express creativity, and I’ve found it’s one of the most powerful doorways into our hearts — where Pappa actually meets us.

Long before I was an art journaler or a Substack writer, I grew up around food and restaurants. My dad had restaurants, and hospitality is deeply ingrained in me. I learned early that a table is more than where you eat — it’s where people are seen, fed, welcomed, restored.

That early life shaped how I see God too. Pappa is the One who sets the table. He’s the host who pours the tea, breaks the bread, makes room for one more. When I write about the table here, it’s the most honest language I have for who He is — and for how He welcomes His daughters home.

Most of my journals are made by hand from scraps that were meant to be thrown away. The page becomes the place where I bring Him what’s real — the grief, the gratitude, the questions, the praise — and let Him whisper back the truth of who I am.

I’m not writing from the finish line. I’m just living this ahead of you. (In the words of Paul — follow my example as I follow Christ’s.)
